Professional Developers of Iowa Fall Conference Focuses on Leadership – Personalized Results Designed for Individuals Attending Conference

Thank you in advance for your participation in the 2013 Fall Conference. In the spirit of “Building an Economic Developer” we are inviting you to participate in two online Leadership Development audits.   Upon registration you will receive electronic instructions and link to the two audits.

Here is a brief description of both:

Leadership Audit:

This audit is designed to measure your capacity to lead and includes the following leadership practices.  There are a total of 47 practices in the following categories:

  •         Be a Leader
  •         Be Authentic
  •         Be  Courageous
  •         Be a Member of a Team
  •         I Trust from the Future

You will find this information particularly useful in developing your next practices as a leader.

Culture Scan

This survey helps you identify your dominant ways of thinking and how you may motivate yourself.  The instrument includes your perception of the organizing codes and principles that exist within your company or organization, your preference for change and the nature of change you are experiencing, and your core executive intelligences that support you day by day. All of this will give you an overall “fit” between you and your job and how you value the multiple bottom lines of business. This takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Results of the surveys:

Our keynote speakers Marsia Gunter & Karen Carnahan will share the group results and work with particular Leadership Development practices that assist each participant in building your own “Leadership Practice Plan”.

A pre-event call has been scheduled for September 4th from 9-10am Central Time. This is your opportunity to ask questions about your individual results and how this information may help you as you continue to develop yourself professionally.

Welcome to the 2013 Fall Conference.  We look forward to your registration soon.
