Nominate your Future PDI Board Leaders

This year's annual meeting will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 during the PDI Fall Conference at the Doubletree by Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A nomination committee has been appointed, with current Vice President Carla Eysink chairing the group. The committee will be accepting nominations through July 25, 2017. PDI is a member-driven organization with a great tradition of an active board – the terms are three years. 

The PDI Board is responsible to:

  1. Promote PDI among economic development industry;
  2. Co-Chair a Committee and provide information to full board and back to members:
  3. Recruit, retain and support membership;
  4. Attend 10 board meetings/year and support PDI events;
  5. Participate in association strategic planning and continue to monitor work plan throughout the year;
  6. Be fiscally responsible and monitor association finances, programs, policies/practices etc.

 

 

 

 

If you would like to nominate yourself or a fellow PDI member, please send the nominee’s contact information along with a photo/bio, and information on qualifications/desire to serve on the board.  Send by July 25to PDI Headquarters via Email director@pdiowa.com.  Thanks for supporting YOUR professional association!
