#ThisIsIowa: Together, We Accomplish Great Things 

PDI joins the Travel Federation of Iowa for the annual #ThisIsIowa Legislative Showcase. The showcase features community/regions from around Iowa who share with legislators the importance of economic tools and how tourism helps grow the State of Iowa. 

PDI Members, you need to tell your unique story of why these issues matter to your local community. It is only through sharing our data and stories that legislators will understand the critical nature of their decision on Iowa’s economy. Your efforts are an investment in seeing the change we want in Iowa. Together, we accomplish great things.

2019 Legislative Showcase Overview 

On February 6, 2019, PDI members met with legislators to discuss issues impacting economic development and tourism. The #ThisIsIowa legislative reception featured displays from around the state, vintage décor, unique local foods/beverages and over 60 PDI members on hand to meet with legislators.
